Если говорить про карьерные перспективы, в IT принято разделять разработчиков по уровню знаний на junior, center и senior. Эти категории выполняют разные задачи по сложности и, соответственно, получают разные зарплаты. Но суть в том, что в IT нет выслуги лет или квалификационных экзаменов.
